AWARDS AT THE EGYPTIAN THEATRE IN HOLLYWOOD

The historic Egyptian Theatre was the first major deluxe movie palace in Hollywood (built in 1922, by Sid Grauman, also of Grauman's Chinese Theatre). The theatre is home to the critically acclaimed American Cinematheque, which completed a major renovation of the property in 1998. The Egyptian Theatre is a state-of-the-art theatre within a historic shell, and features its original, ornate sunburst ceiling and other artwork; the Steven Spielberg theatre; and a stylish open-air, palm tree lined courtyard. Well-known to Red Carpet aficionados, it regularly hosts special events, screenings, Hollywood premieres, and annual film festivals. Located at 6712 Hollywood Boulevard, the Egyptian Theatre is near the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel and other historic theaters on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Early Advance TASTY Awards Tickets are now available.
