TasteTV Launches on KFTY-TV plus International Chocolate Salon Event

Starting April 28th, TasteTV's weekly half-hour food, wine and lifestyle program can be seen throughout the entire San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California on KFTY at 5pm on Saturdays, Comcast Channel 199, DirectTV Ch. 50, and Dish Ch. 50. TasteTV weekly programs are also planned to be available in cities nationwide starting in July.

Chocolate lovers, en garde! The first major chocolate show on the West Coast in two decades takes place this summer at the San Francisco International CHOCOLATE SALON on Bastille Day Weekend, July 14 and 15, 2007 at the Fort Mason Conference Center in San Francisco. Chocolate aficionados, fanatics, buyers and journalists can experience the finest in artisan, gourmet & premium chocolate in one of the world's great culinary metropolitan areas.



Salon highlights feature chocolate tasting, demonstrations, chef & author talks, wine pairings, chocolate painting, a chocolate spa and makeovers, and ongoing interviews by TasteTV's Chocolate Television program. The Salon will also include an evening charity fund-raiser featuring a Chocolate Fashion Show.

Also, during the week leading up to the Salon, Northern California restaurants will be offering "Chocolate Specials" on drinks, dishes, and desserts. Plus, the Chocolate Salon will be having recipe demonstrations in San Francisco's Union Square with well-known chefs and chocolatiers.

Ticket prices for the Salon are $20 for adults. Hours are Saturday July 14th, 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m, Sunday July 15th, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
